Anwar Taufik wrote ""The world development has left us, the Muslims, out.""

Consult any almanac, Anwar. You, the Muslims, are in full command of 20 or more countries where you have systematicly eliminated or ejected all or most of every other religious group. Many of those countries are rich beyond measure in natural resources. They are in fact rich in everything except people belonging to a religion capable of living in peace with others and participating in the modern world.

You will say that the history of colonialism should excuse Muslim backwardness, but how can that serve in a world where a few tens of millions of South Koreans and Taiwanese produce more in the way of technological products than the total efforts of a billion Muslims who have been in control of the huge flow of cash from much of the world's oil production for over 70 years.

...After 1400 years it is still suitable only for the desolate hand to mouth poverty of the travelling ravager in that it has never reconciled itself with any form of tolerance for ideas not frozen in a faulty book imagined during a fevered hashish dream.
