I was merely trying to provide a rational explanation for Sultan's midguided ideas that people don't like him because he is Turkish. An unaccompanied lady not wanting to get into conversation with a single man because of possible misunderstandings is a more likely explanation than any objection to his ethnic background. I didn't mention his Middle Eastern appearance at all. I referred to a Middle Eastern man who tried to pick me up and made a commentary that their values about women don't coincide with ours. ...
