Overheard at brunch this past weekend in NYC:

Riots aided and abetted by drug lords in suburbs, most of which are run by Algerian and Moroccan descendants. Sarkozy threatens their operations, hence fight for destruction of Sarkozy. DdV also wants Sarkozy destroyed, as does Chirac. If DdV wins in '07, Chirac gets pardon; if Sarkozy wins, Chirac goes to jail. Wonder if any drug money runs back to Chirac? Nah, that would be TOO obvious...like "Oil for Food"
