A Vision of Reality

Reader comment on item: Reflections on the Revolution in France*

Submitted by Adele Mischel MSW (United States), Nov 8, 2005 at 13:45

As usual, Daniel Pipe's is correct in his analysis. One need only read the reported stories in the French press, and also listen to accounts reported within our own media , -- to get the same nonsense about "the violence being perpetrated by the young people living in the outskirts of the city.

Whatever the sociological factors coming into play, in this, ....it is paramount to recognize that these events are incited and organized by militant Islamists with a deliberate agenda meant to change French society.as we know it. It seems that in modern day France , the likelihood that another "Charles the Hammer" will emerge (as in the past) to put things right., remains slim;.perhaps, the same may said about other nations. in Europe. It seems that reality, and the courage to recognize that reality, appears to have been lost for the present, at least.
