Look to Australia

Reader comment on item: Reflections on the Revolution in France*

France would do well to look to Australia for an example as to how that government has effectively responded to the ambitions and efforts of some foreigners to plant and establish their traditional philosophies and cultural rites etc., in Aussie "soil" with a view of cultivating some exotic hybrid.

Is this current wave of social unrest (if not inflamed by radical Islamic elements) not just another opportunistic incident, grasped by Islamic fundamentalism, to sow seeds of enmity and hatred towards/among western "unbelievers"?

May radical Islam remain in those (middle-eastern) societies where it can continue to spawn amidst the centuries-old traditions of arrogance, deceit and feudalism which incubated its dubious birth and perpetuates its questionable raison d'etre.....to eliminate any and all so-called infidels via jihad, economic chicanery and sharia.

I haven't heard of any organisation or movement emerging under the banner of "Muslims for peace" in the world's (socio-religious) hotspots such as Iraq, UK, France, Afghanistan etc.......Strange don't you think?
