Hi Mr. Tovey,

"Now, are you trying to say that the fatwa that is employed by the radical Islamists and their cohorts in exacting the lives of 'Jews' as the rocks and trees expose their hiding places is not in the minds of many who desire to eliminate Jews from the face of the earth? I have known and still know Jewish and non-Islamic people from Iran, and from Iranian Muslims who have adopted a peaceful co-existence with their Jewish countrymen; and all have asserted that whatever tolerance is being demonstrated today for the world public consumption is, for the moment, a temporary thing. A time is coming when all of that will be a thing of the past, and you will not be able to argue it away."

My Answer : The Jews have been living in Iran and elsewhere in the middle east since the days of early Muslims. Though Muslims ruled these lands for centuries nothing happened to the Jews. In fact it was the Ottoman empire which saved the exiled Jews of Spain , fleeing from inquisition, the Jews were allowed to settle in the holy land and flourish by the same Ottoman Empire. So my question is to you and to all those "Iranian Muslims who have adopted a peaceful co-existence with their Jewish countrymen" why Muslims did not kill these Jews in all these centuries when they had the opportunity to do so ? When you show a Hadhith out of context showing that Muslims are willing to kill all Jews , ask yourself why the Muslims allowed the Jews to not only survive but flourish in all those centuries gone by when they had all the chances in the world to ensure that all the Jews are at best converted or at worst exterminated ?

On the question of your worldview , I want to make it easy for you. I am giving you some situations below and try to know your view about what would Jesus(PBUH) do in those circumstaces ?

Situation1-Palestinian refugees : Should the Palestinian refugees be asked to to come back to the holy land ?

Rational View : Yes Jesus will ask them to return to their old homes since these were the places where they were born in the first place. And Jeses can't do injustice to those people.

Biblical View : No Jesus wo'nt let them come to this land since it is forbidden by Torah for the Jews to help non-Jews and particularly the Children of Ishmael.(As preached by numerous Jewsih rabbis icluding Dov Lior and the leaders of the Shas party)

Situation2-What kind of state Israel should become ?

Rational View: Israel should become a bi-national state where all the children of Abraham including Jews,Christians and Muslims can live together peacefully without any oppression all have to right to vote and no community would try to dominate the other.

Biblical View:Israel should only be a "Jewish state" which should be run by "Torah" where only Jews have the right to rule. Other communities including Christians,Muslims as well as Messianic Jews should be subjugated and submitted to the authority of the "Torah-beliveing" Jews.

Situation-3-What should be the status of Jerusalem?

Rational View:Jesus would let all the children of Abraham to pray in Jerusalem.

Biblical View:Jesus would let only Jews pray in the temple since that is biblically required.

Now kindly go through all these above prospects and let me know what would Jesus do in all these above three situations in your view and why he would do the same. After going through your answers then only I will be able to know what should be my answers.

Take care.
