Reader comment on item: Islamist Turkey vs. Secular Iran?

Dr Daniel Pipes has always been very insightful ,visionary and accurate in his projections for future. He is one of rare western scholars who had been warning for Turkish transfomration from secular to Islamist for a long time. In this article he has been very near to truth but I want to add one more point into this whole story. The perception of rapid decline of US from its super power stature has created a vacumn in international relations and global politics which has given a hope for sveral regional forces to fill the shoe into it and indesicive postion of western powers on Iranian atomic issue gives a new dimension to this whole story.

If Iran will be able to earn the status of nuclear state desite all the pressures from western world it would embolden Iran to such an extent that for a time being the whole Islamic world will revolve around this country . The whole nexus of Isalmic bloc with leftist countries Venezuela and Brazil has backing of China which patronise them to challenge the US. Western scholars and analysts have always treated China as their allies but in new circumstances China is the sole country which has ambitions for colonial emperialism . We must consider this one other dimension in our mind while analysing the situation for future as China for a long time has a vision for world hegemony and domination. It has never ever confronted with Islamists directly yet although successfully containing its Uighur problem at the same time i keeping good relations with Iran, Saudi Arab and other gulf states as well as Pakistan along with Turkey. This new leftist-Islamist nexus backed by China is real threat for liberal and free society.

Now China is closely watching the situation from behind the screen allowing the Iran to be able to earn the nuclear status as it would give a new dimnension to Islamic politics in global scenario and if Iran would be able to over power western countries then other gulf countries will automatically fall in the lap of Iran for security rather than depending on western countries.

We can not forget that as for as Islamic countries are concerned there is no illusion in them for Jihad the difference lies only for the kind of jihad and once any Islamic country becomes nuclear state it will be translated into state sponsored Jihad. As long as China has the stature to become a good broker and mediator between Islamic states I don't see any confrontation between Islamic states only consolidation for Islamic power. Islamic states will always be the best defence line for China to weaken the US along with its western allies as it is hopeful for its cake walk in Eastern world. I hope western analysts will start looking into China with its hegemonic ambitions rather than treat it as ally.
