Appreciated your piece yet again.

Touching upon the straightjacket the EU indeed presents and the current difficulties Europe in fact is experiencing at present with the multi-culti approach, you may indeed be right, that "overloading" and overburdening these democracies with yet another massive influx of people may pose too many problems.

Impatient, as I am, I admittedly failed to see that the time may indeed not be right. Maybe the Turks must go through the Valley of Erdoganism first and make it on their own. Considering the hideousness of the agenda of these people however, there is a high risk for Turkey to lean on Russia and/or the muslim nations, if Europe fails to come to a constructive diplomacy and at least some economical association of the Turks with Europe. In many ways you express much more trust in the viability of democracy in Turkey, than I.

I can only hope that your trust is not misplaced. It would be a terriblke loss for us all.
