Great post. However there is no doubt that reading VS Naipaul and the 9/11 atrocity affected the way I view islam and the victims of islam and the first victims of islam are really the converts that are not Arabs.

I also was very moved by Pierre Jumayil (he was the President of Lebanon during the civil war) when he was quoted as saying "we shall be dhimmis no more" because as real victims of islam the maronites were saying we will never be dhimmis again

I also happen to study the history of early islam and to be able to read the primary sources one must read these sources in their primary language Arabic that is and therefore my command of Arabic is pretty good

The 9/11 atrocity was more evidence that we have not seen the end of Islamic imperialism and that I shall be "dhimmi no more" and expose islam and islamic imperialism for what they are: Bad human ideas not unlike communism
