Being a proud American, currently living in Europe again, I could not help being taken aback by your open comments in regard to my country and its intentions in the world. But I also found myself smiling about quite a few misconceptions you have about us.

Be prepared for some heavy comments on this one. Since my time does not allow for an extended response right now, I'll get back to you in more detail tomorrow.
