in response to reader comment: It Ain't So Bad

Mr. B.Black , sympathetic to the concept of sharia - writes:

"One should not dispel Sharia Law out of hand..."

Why not? Most sane people do, especially anyone with any appreciation of history and/or human rights..

"----it has many good attributes such as the ability to resolve a dispute among two aggrieved parties whether civil..."

many western nations already have systems in place that do exactly that such as

which have been set up without the need for any recourse to 'sharia' - or any need for a belief that the participants recite the 'shahaddah,' face mecca 5 times a day or think that child molestation is an attribute of a prophet.

'..... or criminal among themselves and without the need for court.'

You'd like 2000 years of Western criminal law to be replaced with the pronouncements of some deluded imams - who think that Mo flew on a winged horse to Jerusalem and split the moon with his little finger??

Shoplifters getting their hands amputated, and if 4 muslims say some woman was having an affair - let's make sure she's hanged or stoned to death. And what happens if the 'offender' is Jewish?

Well, Mr 'Black' ... you're certainly a comedian.
