It would be great wouldn't it ?

Reader comment on item: Europeans: From Venus?
in response to reader comment: We shouldn't still pay for Europe's defense

NATO was Originally Created as a Military Alliance in case if the USSR attacked. And why do you think we can't fight. Look at Finland it didn't have the manpower, industrial, equipment and so on. like america. But they have survived the USSR alone ( Well they recieved some help from the Wermancht but it wasn't really a factor ) and look the USSR didn't even got enough land to bury their dead. 14th -+100 years Lithuania was one of the largest countries in europe and had enemies on both of it side's ( The Catholic Knight Order's, And the Car's Army ). Europe has seen much more war than America ever did. ( Oh and your NATO really helped a lot of defending our borders, a Russian bomber crashed in Lithuania and noone really stoped it ). Hmmm you don't even know what you were paying for, putting 40 Nuclear devices in Europe is a good way to promote peace. Well it doesn't matter you don't choose what you pay for your goverment does and if you don't want to get out of NATO.

In any case both Continents are able to fight.
