Reader comment on item: Europeans: From Venus?

Dear Dr Pipes,

As an avid follower of your superb columns, and someone who is compiling a running bibliography for a new work on 'the new antisemitism' to be published by JPR/ Institute for Jewish Policy Research (a London-based think tank) in co-operation with Profile Books, I read this particular contribution with keen interest. It is important to publicize the contributions of incisive thinkers like Robert Kagan who offer more light than heat to a complex and contentious subject.

Nevertheless, I also think it would have been helpful for you to have included for your readers a reference to the original piece of writing in which his argument was laid out, namely, the June/July issue of Policy Review, whose web site contains the full text (see: http://www.policyreview.org/JUN02/kagan_print.html).

The Washington Post made this biblographic reference when it offered an abbreviated version in the issue of May 26, 2002 (see: http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A7629-2002May24?language=printer) as well.

Keep up the good work.

Sincerely yours,

Winston Pickett PhD
