Democratic perspective of US

Reader comment on item: Europeans: From Venus?
in response to reader comment: EUROPE'S JEALOUSY

We are very happy we have the US like watchdog trying to adapt it's idea of "democracy" to the world. Starting wars without the use of the world democracy being the UN. If the US says to be democratic it should obey the worlddemocracy and not put it's own "democracy" and interests at the first place.

A new worldleague is forming and the US is the last one to see it (just like the Romans in the past), which will be the beginning of the decline of the US military power. The financial power of the US is already on it's return with a "credit-card" mentallity of it's citizens and the government itself. The US growth, unlike that in the EU, is funded by a dangerously high mountain of foreign debt. US external indebtedness in turn is driven by the US house price bubble, enabling US consumers to spend more than they earn. Ironically, it is the EU which, together with China and Japan, continues to lend the money to the US which keeps their households spending and their economy growing.

It seems that Americans forgot about their origins with 70% of the first imigrants comming from western europe.........why are you concentrating on differances and trying to be the biggest, best and whatever in the world, while in the same time our planet is going to waste and cannot withstand another battle between superpowers whichever countries that may be.

LETS WORD TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS WORLD AS A WHOLE A BETTER PLACE..........US, EU, CHINA, INDIA, CANADA, AUSTRAILIA, AFRICA, S.AMERICA, JAPAN..................UNITE..........WE ARE ONE WORLD....LET'S SAVE THE PLANET
