Why make excuses when you could be making a change? What's stopping you from disseminating the truth to your fellow Muslims? Why don't you volunteer to give an impassioned yet accurate accounting of how Islam is in dire need of internal reform at your local mosque? Why not print up flyers and organize a march with all your supposedly peace loving fellow "moderates" and invite the news media? Spread the word in your Muslim community that Islam is in need of reform, march to your local mosque, and demand that your clerics strongly, directly, and publicly denounce terrorism, and get them to actually name the terrorist groups like Hamas? Gather your supposedly moderate majority and march on the madrassahs, demanding that the violence-supporting radicals leave? Get your local immam to issue a fatwa declaring the terrorists and terrorist groups (mentioned by name, of course!) enemies of Islam and denounce, ostracize, ex-communicate them?

Are you planning on attending the upcoming Islamic peace conference in Florida this May? If not, why not? And if not, why not stage your own? Americans put more effort into organizing conventions to promote their HOBBIES than Muslims put into organizing peace conventions to reform their RELIGION. Sad but true.

But no, as is always the case with self-proclaimed and supposedly "moderate" Muslims, you prefer instead to waste your time on anonymous forums, denouncing those who condemn the violence of Islam, obfuscating the issue, being an apologist for terrorists, justifying the rape, pedophilia, and robbery background of the founder of Islam, denying reality as well as historical fact, and spreading Islamic propaganda while lying about Islamic countries being wonderful, tolerant places.

Like I said, you should just start calling yourself "Typical Muslim". At least then we couldn't question your honesty.
