Apparently you have never been to the United States, or any other part of the Americas, where the wealthy prosper and everyone else barely eeks out a living - or doesn't. Being from the US, I think you ought to take another look at this place before you declare it a paradise of western prosperity. It is anything but. Children starve, we are relentlessly spied upon and tormented by our own government (in the name of freedom), and we condone torture, "preemptive" war, and unending consumption of what finite resources we might have.
