I agree with you 100%. In order to understand Islam, we must set aside everything we have been taught about respecting other religions. Why? Because Islam is not like any other religion. It is the only religion that has no version of the Golden Rule and no moral imperatives relative to basic human rights. Unfortunately, Western governments will not be instrumental in revealing the true face of Islam. I don 't know whether this is because of "political correctness" or whether "political correctness" is another name for fear; as in fear of reprisal re terrorism and/or oil supplies. However, the bottomline is that it is up to us as in "We, the People" to educate others regarding the danger that is Islam.
