Islam: Religion of Peace?

Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose
in response to reader comment: islam not a religon of peace

Submitted by Linda Haslam (United States), Nov 27, 2007 at 09:42

No one can prevent you from searching within yourself for Truth. There are millions of Muslims who are truly moral people. They have achieved this by rejecting the "inhumane" aspects of Orthodox Islam. I encourage you to seek out those who think as you do. The internet can be a great source for information. Try looking for the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (I don't know the web address off hand), www.secularislam.org, and www.homa.org.

I really appreciated your response and I know others would too.
