So you tell us ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer what does the Qur'an say about predestination and free will?

For the readers: do not except much as the author of the Qur'an was a poor theologian as he says that Jesus was a prophet and also a God. Go figure.

So we have a lot of stuff in the Qur'an about predestination and as usual very few verses about free will, but based on the concept of Islamic qiyas it is all predestination in Islam.

And do you know what this means? It means that your Allah knew about the 9/11 atrocity and he knows about global warming, and he knew about the brutalization of your ancestors by Mahmud of Ghazni and did not stop any of the above and do you know what this would mean? Let me answer it for you: it means that your Allah is not omnipotent and this is in the case of global warming and he is not able to do anything about it and that he is not omniscient as he did not know about the 9/11 atrocity so is your Allah not omnipotent and not omniscient? Or that your allah knew about the 9/11 atrocity and the brutalization of your ancestors and now he knows about global warming but he is an evil God that does not wish to preven evil. And do you know what do they do to his likes in a court of law? Do you see how foolish your argument is?

As for the question of free will v. predestination in Islam long time ago the Muslim 3Ulama decided that Quranic evidence points to predestination (as Allah is supposed to be omnipotant and omniscient) and now we have the doctrine of al-qada' wa al-qadr or there is no free will in Islam.

As for you our dear M&M if you tell Sheikh al-Azhar that there is no such a thing as al-qada' wa al-qadr he will think that you are nothing but a funny Pakistani. So are you a fuuny Paki?

As for my question: Is global warming haram? This was nothing but sarcasm as in: Ask a stupid question and you will get a stupid answer. Now do you get it or are you still beyond help?
