The word Jihad and our dear M&M

Here is your Arabic lesson for today and feel free to prove me wrong:

The root JHD and the stems

1 Yajtahid means he strives to improve himself (tajtahid f.),

ijtihad means striving to improve him/herself

and mujtahid means he who strives to improve

2 Yujahid he fights in holy war

Jihad means holy war

mujahid means holy warrior

The two words Ijtihad and Jihad have nothing in common except the root JHD

Now feel free to prove me wrong and like i said; Islam is the religion of the Arabs and you ain't one
