Misinterpretation

Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose
in response to reader comment: For our dear M&M and al-nasikh wa al-mansukh

Not everything is literal. You cannot sit up here on your high horse.

There are verses in every text which can be construed the wrong way. There are a lot of seemingly disgusting things in the Bible that may have a reasonable explanation. I would post them but I think I would be condemned for questioning the Bible.

I would like to ask one thing. Just one thing. Just one thing. In the answer I would like the answer to that one thing. No other rhetoric, save that for a different post.

Just answer this question.

In Exodus 22-20, Is God commanding you to kill over a billion people?

In Leviticus 19:19, dhimmi, susan, and noah, check your clothing. Is God demanding that you die for wearing cloth made from 2 different threads?

Either he really is, which I doubt, or, the more obvious possibility, it is being misinterpreted, as you are misinterpreting the ayat of the Quran.
