Wrong again Sword!

"We've already established that you do not believe that the British & Arabs took Jerusalem from the Turks during WW1 which I am sure will raise more than one eyebrow amongst the casual observer who will have little difficulty confirming this one way or the other. Tell us more. Educate me."
So let me help you out also with this one; only since you asked so nicely.
First of all, stop fooling yourself and other innocent unsuspecting readers: "We've already established" nothing. The Turks took Jerusalem from the Mamluks, and the Mamluks from the Arabs, and the Arabs from the Crusaders, and we can go back in history on and on.
And yes, the British took Jerusalem from the Turks during WW1. You insist that the Arabs also participated, but from some reason you forget that Jews also participated. And unlike Arabs, Jews fought only on the British side.
But all this is absolutely beside the point. None of these has any effect whatsoever on the Jewish rights in Palestine. These rights are rooted in ancient history, the Jewish nation was born in this land, intermittently ruled this land from times immemorial till our very days, or in Menachem Begin's words in his November 20, 1977 speech in the Knesset hosting Egypt's President Anwar Saadat:
"No, sir, we took no foreign land. We returned to our Homeland. The bond between our People and this Land is eternal. It was created at the dawn of human history. It was never severed. In this Land we established our civilization; here our prophets spoke those holy words you cited this very day; here the Kings of Judah and Israel prostrated themselves; here we became a nation; here we established our Kingdom and, when we were exiled from our country by the force that was exercised against us, even when we were far away, we did not forget this Land, not even for a single day. We prayed for it; we longed for it; we have believed in our return to it……"
If you wish you can read the whole speech in Address of Prime Minister Menahem Begin to the Knesset.
And not less important: None of the foreign invaders mentioned above has ever established a distinct national entity in this land. Jerusalem was a capital city only under Jewish reign. It was turned into a miserable neglected rundown place by its foreign occupiers. The Arabs began to be obsessed by their "ties" to Palestine only with the recent return home of the Jewish People. I could go on and on with more historic facts and details but it would be really redundant.
In fact who the heck needs proofs for the rights of the Jewish People in the Land of Israel except absolute ignoramuses, or perhaps anti-Semitic Nazis?
I hope you don't expect me to react to your reference to "asininity" or "obtuseness". Sword, I would rather suggest you to try to have a good look in the mirror instead. And the same regarding your other bright statement: "I realise that 'facts' are an anathema to you but it's how the rest of us tend to communicate." You certainly must be talking about yourself.
Sword, I provided you a few facts to chew on. Enjoy yourself!
