Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose
in response to reader comment: A waste? In your case, definitely!!!

Well Sword, after an almost two month disappearance, back you are again!

I must confess that I was a bit worried about you and thought that you decided to take a short vacation to recover from some mysterious virus which hit you and apparently confused your mind a bit, and brought about some emotional breakdowns. This of course would have been a perfect excuse for some improper statements, not to mention nonsense you have posted just prior your "disappearing performance".

But no, here you are back again to where you left, back to the same delusionary reinvention of the history.

So let's see, you are back again to telling us that "Without the British, the Jews would have 0% of Palestine. Fact.".

Sword, are you aware of the absurdity of this ...? Not to mention its outrageous untruthfulness?

Who the heck kicked out the British from Palestine? The Arabs?

What have the British rulers done for the Jewish settlements in Palestine?

What have the British done for helping the thousands of homeless and destitute Jewish Holocaust survivors who were fleeing murderous Nazi Europe and trying to reach safe haven in Palestine?

Are you trying to tell us that the source of Jewish rights in Palestine is "The Balfour Declaration"?

Come on Sword! A learned scholar like you should know better than that! All Balfour Declaration has done was simply acknowledging well known historic facts; which apparently you are unwilling or unable to do.

The Jewish rights in Palestine precede the Balfour declaration, as well as they precede the Ottoman Empire, as well as your British Empire. None of them has anything to do with the Jewish rights in Palestine. The Jewish rights in Palestine predate all of these and they are Eternal. There is no nation on this Earth whose rights on their lands is stronger than those of the Jewish People in Palestine; not even the British.

So far concerning moral, legal, and historic rights.

But all these would be meaningless, void, and worthless unless the determination and ability of the Jewish People to materialize these rights and defend them; again without any, or rather in spite of any "British contribution":

The Holocaust survivors were brought to safe haven in Palestine by clandestine Jewish resistance organizations, in spite of the despicable and inhuman British actions against them.

The newly born Jewish State emerged victorious from its heroic independence war against all the surrounding Arab states which attacked it on the very day of its proclamation. Here again, if anything, the British fought and helped the Arab side. Thus, at least the Jordanian Arab Legion was fully equipped, trained, armed, and partially staffed by the British.

So in conclusion Sword, I would suggest you to find a better place to sell your reinvented history lessons. Unfortunately for you, here there are some people who know the true facts for what they are.

And please, do not disappear again for two months as you did after my re. Perspective ; AD NAUSEUM!; and Sword, can you explain yourself?

Indeed, it is such a pleasure to refute your arrogant rant. It is so typically British!

I love it!

Moshe
