Surely; Allah is quick at reckoning.

All the prophets are equal and God does not differentiate among them. But there has always been an attempt by their followers to attach some miraculous status or myths to place their prophets at the exalted stations; contrary to the one that they ever claimed to be; in their life time. We see that invariably all the previous denominations bear their certain myths to follow. They vigorously preached it to their followers and under the ‘Holy order' of the time asked them to adopt and practice.
Islam hails all the earlier divinely teachings, revealed to earlier prophets; Abraham, Moses or Jesus (peace be upon them all) and place them as a credential and ‘part and parcel' of its own teachings.
These divine evolutionary teachings administered to the previous denominations are the stepping stone in the way of attaining the adulthood of conscious of mankind; and they finally culminate at its summit in Islam, to complete the religion of God.
The universally revered divinely message of love given by Jesus as we see now; was the requirement of the time at its inception. Judaic having gone through the prolonged phase of their humiliation at the hands of Pharaoh had totally lost their self respect; they were at low esteem as of some out cast peoples. But after their migration from Egypt along with Moses; Jews society went through a vast transformation.
In order to inculcate a sense of pride; to make Judaic a self esteemed community and remove their sheepishness from among them; God Almighty blessed them his favour and special verdicts like; ‘eye for eye and tooth for tooth' were in-forced to make them courageous and fearless, and to train and govern the masses. Eventually these practices, although made them courageous and devout fearless warriors; but their hearts were hardened and they became remorseless in their day to day dealings.
Later on due to a continuous suffering of hardship as society and their persecution at the hands of Assyrians; they were forced to leave their homes and disperse. They were now a scattered and frustrated flock. They needed a Shepard who could be their savoir, who could re-assemble them and also humble them and soften their hearts. They needed a reformer; a kind hearted; a humble person like Jesus. He came with a universal message of love but unfortunately he was rejected out rightly by them, on his arrival.
Islam is facing a dilemma that; where as it has the challenge to spread a message of peace and harmony to all the societies of the World; it finds that the old denominations like Christianity and Judaic are found fixed up in their rut of self created myths. Judaic are standing there; having rejected the Jesus; where as Christianity picked him as their Savoir but is placing him as high as God?
Love for all, Hatred for none
