A gathering threat

Reader comment on item: [U.S. Intelligence: ]"Moslem States Represent a Potential Threat to World Peace"

That report was ahead of its time. Before 9/11 the majority of westerners did not know much about Islam. Even in this report we can see that their knowlledge about the ambitions of muslims was rather general. But now we know a lot more about the true desires of the mad mullahs.

Now it is important that the west does not make the mistakes it made prior to WWII. We all understand the threat that militant Islam poses. We know that they only use Palestine as an excuse to carry out their Jihad against the Christian world. Therefore it is of the out most importance to stop them in their tracks. For example a country like Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. Such a mistake will only lead to catastrophe.

Right now the Russian are not being helpful. Instead of joining with the west to defeat the gathering Islamo-fascist threat, they are helping Iran aquire nukes. After Beslan how can Putin possibly not see the necessity to defeat militant Islam. Only time will tell.
