in response to reader comment: Islam in the West: A Perilous Premise!

Dear Madam, Sir,

I will argue about the historical spread of Islam. I also deplore and strongly condemn any war, past or present. Be assured that, as a Muslim, I would myself be scared to death to live under any fanatic regime, where basic individual rights and democracy are lacking. I am also confident that the majority of Muslims aspire to freedom, equality, justice, freedom, peace and democracy. I have not seen 1.5 billion people taking the sword and invading the West. You seem, however, to conclude "…so would Muslims who are not necessarily in the forefront of the great Islamic commission, should the world become conquered for Islam by Osama bin laden and the like, through their Jihad". Your statement takes me aback. It is like you write an essay on quantum physics and conclude that Muslims are criminals ! I find your reasoning very disturbing. You also make the statement that "the population of indigenous Europeans is rapid decline on account of their selfish, irrational, nihilistic quest for pleasure". So, what are you pleading for? This is the kind of talk I expect from Islamic (or other) fundamentalists.
