That's how they "cope," in their own dysfunctional way. The lies they tell us as "taqiyya" are just a reflection of the lies they tell themselves, and their confident self-righteous blustering is just a mask for their profound fear of truth.

Disinformation is the fuel, paranoia the fire it sustains, and violence is the end result.

If the paranoia is not rooted in their essential nature, then there is hope if they can be weaned from the hate-filled lies ( http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/009193.php ), and get them to sober up. If not, how can one provide the necessary psych-meds to the tens of millions who would need it, let alone monitor their compliance? And, more important, how do we subdue a drunken rabid gorilla long enough to administer them and have them take effect?
