Dear Prof Pipes,

I agree that there cannot be world peace when one seventh of the earth's population exists under depravation. This one seventh in 1946 has become one fifth in 2006 for obvious reasons.

I may add what the British Prime Minister Gladstone of 19th century holding a copy of Koran reportedly said,"So long as this Book exists, there will be no world peace."
