UAE will manage American portsReader comment on item: "Moslem States Represent a Potential Threat to World Peace" Submitted by Catherine (United States), Feb 15, 2006 at 20:02 UAE's Dubai Ports World will soon manage the ports in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia. In that container cargo is essentially unscreened now and manifests could be easily manipulated, this poses a potentially catastrophic problem. Not to worry though. The US Committee on Foreign Investments in the US has scrutinized the operation for security threats and has approved it. And Stephen Flynn of the Council on Foreign Relations assures us that "longshoremen are Archie Bunker kinds of Americans" so they won't let anything bad pass through.Well, scrutinize this: Per the FBI, the 9/11 money, operational planning and hijackers themselves passed through the UAE and to this day they have been singularly uncooperative in 9/11 investigations.Does anyone else find this deeply alarming?
