the United Arab Emirates(Dubai) taking over our ports

Reader comment on item: "Moslem States Represent a Potential Threat to World Peace"

Good article, depressing though the situation is.

But my question to you, Daniel, is why do you feel the Muslim would continue to slide downhill without the west? The Russians and Chinese appear to be the Muslim world's new source of technology and trade. And since we cannot afford to cut off relations with the Chinese, the Chinese market will be able to provide Iran and the Muslim world with everything from clothes to nuclear bombs. And the Russians are overtly wooing them as we speak.

I heard a scary newsarticle on radio station 640 A.M . That the UAE, United Arab Emirates, have bought out the British company that monitors the U.S.A.'s major ports in Florida, Louisianna, Boston, New York, etc. and that they will now be in charge of this task - Dubai particularly. The U.S. knows that Dubai and UAE still fund terrorist homocide bombers. And even so, this news blurb couldn't possibly be true, could it?

Then we would have really gone mad as a country.

All the best and keep up the good work.

Nearly all innovation takes place in the West, not Russia or China, and that fact is not likely to change for a long time.
