What's wrong with unit

Dear Ann,

Let us stay calm. What's wrong for one person, be it a political leader, to express his vision and desire to unite Palestine with Jordan or other countries. Do you believe that the present frontiers are ideal. All over the world, the US included, are seeking to enter into Regional Trading Agreements. The EU is embarking on a enlargement process. The African Union is trying to realize some kind of unity. So, what's really wrong with someone wishing to unite with others. Maybe one day Israel will want to unite with neighboring countries ! I believe we should be open-minded, accept to be challenged and work for a better world.
