You are claiming - incorrectly - *Persian* achievments for Arabs. On top of that, you are greatly overstating said contributions by your quote of Armstrong. What science developed after the Muslim conquest was in SPITE of "Islam", not because of it. Whenever there was a religous revival in the Muslim sphere, science died and books were burned. Haven't you ever wondered why the West - when exposed to the developments of the Hindus *through* the Islamic world - quickly outpaced said "Islamic" world?
