Reader comment on item: Islam vs. Islamism (article)
in response to reader comment: The Killer Answer to Defeating islam itself

Submitted by Jim Jennings (United States), Nov 28, 2013 at 19:39

There is no moderate Islam. If you defeat Islamism, it will only grow into a beast again out of so called moderate Islam. Islam has a prayerful side and a violent side. They are both Islam. The prayerful side does not make up for the violent side. Islam is the problem. Islamism rises out of Islam because Islam teaches them to commit violent acts and murder. So-called moderate Islam is not following all of Islam, when they do, they'll be radical and violent. Islam is the problem. Here is I believe the solution and there are three aspects to it. 1) Christians should love and witness to so-called moderate Muslims and radical Muslims when it is possible, because it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that will ultimately change Muslims. 2) We must work to prevent terrorist's act of violence and when we know of them before hand, they must be met with force. 3) When followers of Islam commit terrorist acts and murder people, there must be swift justice - the death penalty. This requires church involvement , police involvement, and government involvement.
