On who does the onus fall?

Dear Dr Pipes,

As I said in some of my other messages, the onus of differentiating between Islam and Islamism falls on Muslims. It is not an obligation of non-Muslims to make this differentiations. Just as the onus of separating between casteism and Hinduism falls on Hindus and the onus of separating between Nazism and Christianity falls on Christians, the onus of separating between Islam and Islam's unfair social contracts falls on Muslims.
