well Danial as much as I appreciate your writings I simply cannot go with you on this point, Islam is a socioeconomic political and religious culture, one cannot separate them and thats why they will never completely integrate into western society, at some point they will begin to assert Islamic culture, and in some countries they can legally do this, in Australia we have a -please note-MULTI-CULTURAL SOCIETY- said to be one of the best in the world, however we also have the growing pains of Islamic warring.

in Melbourne for example we have the-classic- fighting between the Sunnie/shiea sects, Islam is not one religion, its as diverse as the christian religion is, and 95% of wars involving muslims is between these 2 main sects, go check current national muslim wars, and as far as Muslims speaking the truth to any western non muslim-infidel- well the Koran covers this with explicit teaching that Muslims are not condemned if they lie to to western infidels its actually considered a-must do position-, considering that the same Koran also tells them that the infidel is-worthy only of death, now as far as-dealing with Islam-well firstly the ww2 and the cold war existed for perhaps 40yrs,

we were dealing with hegemonic parties, religion was not the world view, total power and control was, but they did not have the 1000S OF YRS OF INDOCTRINATED RELIGIOUS UPBRINGING AND CULTURAL STEADFASTNESS OF THE ISLAMIC HISTORY TO SUPPORT THEIR WARMONGERING. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE BACKBONE OF CULTURAL HISTORY, THEY HAD TEMPORARY MECHANISED, UNTIL DESTROYED WAR APPARATUS, once destroyed they were finished. one cannot even consider doing that with muslims, again

go check out how the US fared in Iraq and Afganistan. the west could deny all access to modern weapons in these nations and still they would go to war against the infidel, THE KORAN DEMANDS IT, and as far as moderate Islam is concerned, well, they are the imbeded troops who will do as any waring nation does, imbed its agents into the enemy's structure, again, we see this-even as you report in America, and we see this in Europe and I see it here in Australia, the most insidious method they use is infiltration of the host country's laws, and they are good at termiting another countrys laws, remember again, Mohammond words are to take over the nations that are not Muslim and convert them to Islam ... surely you cant excuse that type of teaching when its a basic tenet of the ISLAMIC KORAN.
