And to prove the opposite?

Reader comment on item: Islam vs. Islamism (article)
in response to reader comment: Islam by any other name is anti-reason

If it were impossible to prove there is no Creator or source of life, or spirituality, than it also is impossible to prove there isn't. Unless you can of course, please proceed. The fact that from dust you came and to dust you will return is a truth and makes you as powerless as we who believe. The powerful may have their brief time of wealth and glory but it is gone in a moment, a blink of an eye. Anyway, of all religions that are on earth, Islam may be the most adaptable to moderating. That could be why the left and right are meeting in sympathy with the Islamic cause against the other root and branch of the God of Abraham. Islam understands that to live on earth one must ignore what the right hand is doing while the left hand remains righteous. The Christian and Jewish Faith cannot claim that ability. Christians do not need to be modified because they are taught that to gain the world and lose your soul is of no profit for man. Islam is of the earth and the flesh so it is easier to corrupt. It's leader and founder understood that to remain powerful he must adapt to earthly ways and desires. Islam can be modified at the great cost to all people who lived in darkness and saw a great light that the earthly flesh is determined to extinguish. So sorry you can't, light is life, and we seek light.
