League of Nations in 1917?

Dear Infidel,

I greatly appreciate what you write but I'd like to draw you attention to one small inaccuracy. You write :

There existed no League of Nations in 1917. At that time Europe was being torn into pieces by the carnages of the war of attrition in the West and the fall of the tsarist rule in Russia with all its dire consequences, while the US entered "the war to end war".

The League of Nations came into being only in 1919 as a result and part of the infamous Treaty of Versailles signed on 28.06.1919.
