These were first invented to defeat the Axis Powers. They were a necessary feat, or quite frankly, everyone on the subcontinent would be speaking either Japanese, German, or Russian. They were a necessary check at the time. If hadn't worked on them, our enemies would have.

Unfortunately, the West just realized that we are at war with terror on September 11, 2001. Radical Muslims have been issuing a war against us since their Axis allies were defeated.

They have a 60 year lead time on us.
