Shari'a go home!

Penelope, you warm my heart! It's time women raised their heads and express publicly what we say to each other in our groups of friends. If people want to live under Islamic law, there are plenty of countries where it's practiced, and I welcome them to go there.

The fact is, they want to bring Islam here and inflict it on us, because they've been brainwashed since they were children--or converted by conmen. I am just amazed that people read books like the Koran and think it's spiritual or godly. It's the words of a blood-thirsty, sexist, power-mongering bully, pure and simple. Why don't people see it?!

One woman posted here that she wears a burka because she's overweight and otherwise people say mean things to her. So she's really hiding to keep from being vulnerable to hateful people. That's very sad, indeed, and has caused her to choose isolation over pain.

But how do we reach people and get past the brainwash? It has obvious survival value for the species, or people wouldn't be so gullible and submit themselves--and their children--to religious con men. Part of it is bullying, part is power, but there is something else going on. Otherwise, women in the West who don't wish to wear burkas wouldn't. It's like the Jeffs cult--the woman are taught from the time they are children that their only hope of glory in a god is to submit to the teaching.

Time for women to wake up and sieze worldwide emancipation. And a place to start is by denying the validity of shari'a in the West.
