Reader comment on item: Resisting Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: True Reason Why Muslims Dislike Dogs

Submitted by Kimberly Schroeder (United States), Dec 11, 2015 at 18:16

It is difficult to take all of the bible, Koran, or other book claimed to be the word of god. Why would god punish all snakes because evil disguised itself as one. So in Islam the dog issue gives me pause. Angels cannot abide the presence of one and all black dogs are evil? I suppose I don't mind taking some parts as ok, but leave the rest. I'll never be a true believer for this reason.
