It is laughable matter to call Islam violent

Reader comment on item: Resisting Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: Quranic quotes for Mansoor

Submitted by Asma (United States), Apr 21, 2015 at 16:07

First of all Muslims were persecuted in the land of Kabba a symbol build for monotheism by Abraham. They had to leave their homes & migrate elsewhere in order to practice monothesim They started fighting back to reclaim house of God and the land around it at the orders of God after 13years of persecution. All those violent verses in Quran were revealed during the state of war or when unbelievers violated the treaties in Oder to go after them. BOTTOM LINE :- Islam can't be the force or major power that at one point, time ruled at least half the world,if it was violent religion!!!!!
