Reader comment on item: Resisting Islamic Law

But in the West, we are so politically correct that we just see Muslims as people who "pray differently." I have met so many Muslim women online who want to change the law in Islamic countries, but many cannot even publicly say what they think. Even on TV shows in Saudi Arabia, I've seen women hidden behind screens or under burkas so they would not be recognized and killed by their male relatives.

Islam is no religion of peace--it's a totalitarian form of government. And even Bin Laden admitted it last September when he compared Islam to capitalism--not to a religion as we understand that term in the West. Islam is a type of totalitarian government-culture-religion complex, and until people in the West acknowledge this, Muslims will continue to pour into Western countries and demand to be allowed to practical shari'a and enslave women and seek greater numbers so they can seize power. Period.
