Dear Mansoor,

One of the benefits of living in a democracy and a principle of freedom is the right of every human to live by their own CHOICE. The freedom to choose their own path and the obligations necessary to that choice. RESPONSIBILITY for one's actions.

You as a Pakistani and a Moslem must spout your dogma. You are not FREE to do otherwise. So you are threatened by choice and work to deny that to others. That is the essential tenet of Islam. REMOVE CHOICE. DICTATE A SINGLE PATH. PUNISH THOSE WHO STRAY OR REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AUTHORITY. Accept that authority or die. Islam is Gods word. Judaism is Gods word. Christianity is Gods word. Everyone knows what God wants.

Such a menage of peoples knowing what God wants can only leave a truly free thinking person to reach the conclusion that God suffers multiple personality disorder and is unsure of what is the natural course of events. Mans idealization of God is; that [He] favors one culture above all others. That [he] has made a subjective personal cultural choice from the hundreds of different cultures on earth, and has chosen You and Yours. That God is a practitioner of ethnocentrism. What is most disturbing about this is that you as a Moslem not only participate in this mass cultural hallucination but are willing to kill anyone who thinks otherwise. You fear anything beyond your own reflection in your cultural mirror.

As a person living in a free world with the ability to chose, a person taught to think for himself and to take responsibility for that thinking, you may believe that what I say are my own thoughts, or such thinking that I am in agreement with. On the other hand, because of your cultural dictates, I can not believe that what you say or think are your own thoughts. You are not free to think what you like, and that if it is found that you have strayed from the dictates of your culture and religion you will pay the price for not following the decreed path for your life. You are not free. You are enslaved to Islam. How are you to be trusted?

Worse of the worst is that if you do trip up and transgress the Islamic boundary. It most likely will be a family member that rats you out to the thought police. Nice life. Almost makes you wonder why the world isn't rushing to live in Pakistan, eh? It's not the jihadi's or the suicide bombers that are the heroes of Islam. It's those who find the strength to walk away from that insipid authoritarianism.
