About Bader: A "Moderate" Muslim's Bag of Tricks

This seems to be Bader's stock in trade, taking examples out of context and presenting them through a narrow, biased prism to attack any argument that seems critical of Islam. He presents his arguments as if shedding gentle light on a hot topic. Then he pretends to chide others for their lack of "wisdom". He uses the same "out of context" trick over and over with references to Old Testament, New Testament, Hindu scriptures, writings of ancient rabbis and events from all over the world and throughout history.

He has a huge store of "reasonable" counterexamples that would convince only fellow Muslims, always deflect criticism of Islam and never once consider the other side. Every now and then intolerance quietly slips out of his bag (especially about Jews and Hindus). This is an educated but intolerant Muslim's bag of tricks. Is this what we should consider a "moderate" Muslim?...
