Civil War in Iraq?

Reader comment on item: Civil War in Iraq?

I would like to add to Pipes comments:

What is happening in Iraq, after the fall of S.Hussein, is fundamentally the consequence of religion. Everything that is despicable in religion is demonstrated every second, minute, hour of the day in this country. As long as religion has the upper hand it will be difficult for this country to satisfy all parties. Religion should be a private issue even if it guides politicians.
Islam is hungry for power, control and submission of the rest of the world.

The West and the rest of the non-Muslim world should remember what is going on there and what OBL and his acolytes want to impose in the Caliphate. Especially Europe should use its neurons and see what is coming if they remain nonchalant. Muslims hate secularists like they hate everything else (many examples exist).

This is why the US must keep the separation of religion and politic.
