You talk as if Indians have no hope ever to remove their poverty. You are still being blinded by your arrogance. India is now marching towards complete poverty and illitracy elimination.

So you want the real merit of Indian democracy.

Let me put it this way:

The period of 1940s to 1990s has been a devastating time for the nations of Asia.

China under Chairman Mao killed over 50 million of it citizens during the great cultural leap forward.

Cambodia, Vietman, Laos and even Pakistan had genocidal civil wars.

Nations like Pakistan and Myanmar passed in and out of ruthless military regimes.

Only India has managed to above such cataclysmic events.

By the way, you seem think of Asians as inferior to other people. Typical hypocrisy expected from you.
