Reader comment on item: Civil War in Iraq?

Submitted by Mu'een Ud Deen (United Kingdom), Mar 3, 2006 at 05:41

First and foremost I am a Muslim. I know for a fact that no Muslim whether he be Shia or Sunni would blow-up a mosque and so cause a civil-war.

This is another American conspiracy, just like the conspiracy about the New Orleans disaster - blame it on everyone except yourself. Civil war is imminent now because of the 'Coalition' presence in Iraq and the invasion. America is openly practising colonialism - and no-one is bothered!

As for Islamic terrorism, have the American and the international community forgotten that America have been the only nation to use an atomic bomb? If America and the world wish to close Iran's nuclear program, they must close their own as well! As for the Iraq issue of 'weapons of mass destruction' - has everyone forgotten that America sold these weapons to Iraq and Saddam?

As for Arabia, they spend nearly all their money in investment. The minority of their money help fund Islamic organisations, for example - Hamas who spend about 80-90% on hospitals, funding schools and other such stuff - why then are they outlined as terrorists.

Nearly 10% of America's economy is owned by Arabic hands - if they wanted to end the west, they could have done it long ago!
