Civil War in Iraq

Reader comment on item: Civil War in Iraq?

Submitted by Jeffrey A. Supowit (United States), Feb 28, 2006 at 20:34

Excellent article. I have been struggling with reconciling insolubility of the Iraqis' problems with the sense that the USA should not be perceived as being pushed out by terrorists. The impending Civil War gives us a good excuse to get out on our own terms.

President Bush, whom I support, mistakenly subscribes to Colin Powell's "Pottery Barn" model for Iraq. I don't believe we "broke it" and thus I don't believe we "bought it".
