it is true that brains like the one hr have is anti-Islamic 100% homothought. That is fine, let him be..but when we talk about examples like the director of Jihad Watch -Spencer- we are talking about an academic phenomenon that probably represent a school of thought different than mine or yours... Unlike hr, Spencer is an academic institution which acording to me represents the feeling of a group in the society Spencer belongs to.

You can identify the influence on the way he academically attack Islam by refering to an anti-Islam religion movement -Islamists argument saying the jewish influence- I actually do not buy this one. May be he is influenced by a corporate project!! could be..other than that, I can only say that Spencer has a huge problem playing against his credibility which is the fact that he deliberatly uses academic methods to attack Islam. Especially when it comes to mixing Jihadism with Islam. So I do not find him an interesting source of learning..

Regarding profs like that who teach in reputable universities, that is unfortunately the case...an other double standard. The best or second best University in Canada -McGill-`s Islamic Studies department is presided by a non Muslim as opposed to judaic and other studies where the head of the department is part of the culture he teaches (up to 2002 as I am not updated as to who is the head of the dept now)..Double standard and nothing else..at least we will not stop talking about double standards untill all citizens we know are aware..
