How to win the war

Reader comment on item: The Clash to End All Clashes?

The "War on Terror" is a very confusing term. Wars have always been between countries (e.g. US and Germany), not on a tactic. What is the capital of Terror? How do we know Terror has surrendered? The concept of who the enemy is needs to be firmed up before the West has a chance to win.

How can a side win without having hatred and contempt for the enemy? Even in a football game you don't like the other team until the game is over. We need to hold all the wrongs of the enemy to public ridicule.

Is it written in the Constitution that the press must be allowed to accompany troops in combat? To me, this is like having spies inside our camp. Lunacy!

You will never convince the Muslims that Western ways are better. You can't leave them alone because they are aggressive and will soon have nuclear weapons. ...
